Blacklist Disposable / Temporary Email Addresses for Forums

Here is a list of online web services that offer disposable email addresses. Many people use these to protect their main email addresses and protect them from spam. Many use them because they are quick to make and spammers use them frequently for bulk forum signups. If you have a big board, you will soon see yourself swimming in spam.

As a respectable XenForo forum owner who rarely emails users and takes pride in member privacy there is no need for a disposable email address.

If someone can't provide me with their real email address they get their account banned. Because they cannot receive email notifications and in most cases are there to leach or have no interest in being a valuable member of the community.

List of Blogger Country Domains for Adsense

Recent changes to Blogger has meant that blogger blogs are being redirected to the country in which visitors are visiting from. For instance, my address was previously http://dishingtech.blogspot.com. Because I am Australia, it redirects to http://dishingtech.blogspot.com.au. Google Support states the following:

Why does my blog redirect to a country-specific URL? (ccTLD)

Q: Why am I seeing a URL change?
A: In the next few months the website address of a blog you're reading may be redirected to a country-specific domain. For example, if you're in Australia and viewing [blogname].blogspot.com, you might be redirected to [blogname].blogspot.com.au. The country-specific domain should correspond to the country where you're currently located.

Q: Why is this happening?
A: We are doing this to provide more support for managing content locally. If we receive a removal request that violates local law, that content may no longer be available to readers on local domains where those laws apply. This update is in line with our approach to free expression and controversial content, which hasn’t changed.

Can't Access Your Blogger.com?

You can still access your the .com version of your Blogger blog by typing: http://[blogname].blogspot.com/ncr – which always goes to the .com version of the blog. The “no country redirect” (ncr) will temporarily prevent Blogger from redirecting readers to the local version of the blog.

What does this mean for Adsense?

You have to authorise your sites with Google Adsense otherwise the ads that are displayed. E.g. at http://dishingtech.blogspot.com.au I will not receive a commission because I have not authorised the site. I am particularly hurt by this as a significant amount of traffic comes from Malaysia. This should increase your Adsense page views, Clicks and Page CTR. Google Support explains it best:

What happens to sites I don't authorize?

If a URL displaying your ad code is not on your list of authorized sites, ads will still show on that URL, and impressions and clicks will be recorded. However, advertisers will not be charged, and you will not receive any earnings for that site. Our systems might attribute a few impressions to sites that you do not control and that do not directly have your ad code on them. Check possible reasons for this.

If you don't add a site to the authorized sites list, and you place your ad code on it, ads will continue to appear on the site but you won't earn from them. Therefore, please enable this feature with caution to avoid missing out on valid revenue.

How do you Authorize sites to display ads
Site authorization is an optional feature that allows you to identify only specific sites that are permitted to use your Google ad code. If you're particularly concerned about malicious use of your ad code by others, you may wish to use this feature as a precaution.

How to Authorise your sites
1. Sign in to your account
2. Visit the Home tab, then Account settings in the left hand panel
3. In the "Access & authorization" section, next to "Sites authorized to show ads," click edit.
4. Check the box marked Only allow certain sites to display ads for my account.
5. Enter the URL of the sites that you want to authorize, then click save

Your changes should take effect within 48 hours.

Source & Read More: Google Support

Use the following complete list as a guide to adding all the blogger country domains. Also note that if you add invalid domains the page will tell you. Do not edit these manually. CTRL + F then replace all dishingtech with the name of your blog with a text editor. Do not add http://. I have also added a number of other ones that get used quite frequently. Another good place is to see your traffic stats and you will know from where you are getting traffic. Unfortunately you will miss some because of some websites will use iframes and you code. However, if you do this 99% of ads that are clicked should generate you more much deserved revenue.

Worried about Not Listing Authorised Sites?
Google Adsense will let you know on the home page if you are losing revenue because you haven't authorised a number of sites by displaying this message:

Your ads have recently appeared on websites you haven't authorised. To avoid lost revenue, make sure that you authorise any sites where you display ads by visiting your account settings.

Be sure to check regularly and authorise them^

Can't Downgrade from 06.15.00?

A solution for those who were unable to downgrade their 3GS or 3G iPhones baseband to factory stock firmware is in the works. Musclenerd has figured out the cause of failures. It was variation of the NOR Chips. Fix expected Thursday (28/6/2012) and will be in the next Redsn0w version and you can download it via the dev team blog. You may also be interested in our active and helpful 06.15.00 Downgrade and GPS Fix Facebook Group for further developments.

It is important you prepare and adhere to the warnings for the downgrade, failure to do so may result in lost data or a broken iPhone. If the downgrade still does not work, visit here.

06.15.00 3GS Downgrade & GPS Fix | Latest Redsn0w Update

The iPhone Dev Team is happy to announce a baseband downgrade option in redsn0w for those who are using the iPad’s 06.15 baseband on the iPhone3G or iPhone3GS.

The redsn0w update is out
Typically you’d have the 06.15 baseband if you unlock with ultrasn0w but updated your iPhone baseband past 05.13.04.  With this new capability, you can now downgrade specifically from 06.15 to 05.13.04 (even if you never had 05.13.04 on that device before).  This gives you the best of both worlds: ultrasn0w compatibility and a normal iPhone baseband with full GPS and the ability to use stock IPSWs again. There will be a new version of Redsn0w (NOR fix) released on the 28th of June if you are having issues with the downgrade and followed the steps below, read hereThose who are having trouble try these instructions: Have an internet connection. Then follow the following steps:

1. Download latest iTunes
2. Backup your phone in iTunes
3. Download 5.1.1 IPSW
4. Download latest Redsn0w
5. Clear the cache in Redsn0w
6. Select / navigate to the 5.1.1 IPSW in Extras
7. Go back and select jailbreak
8. Untick install cydia
9. Check baseband downgrade
10. Turn your phone off, slide to switch off
11. Then follow the prompts for DFU mode
12. After complete open iTunes
13. Restore via the IPSW you downloaded
14. Run redsn0w and check install cydia
15. Open iTunes again
16. Restore from Backup

If you are getting a 60000ms error on your iphone after a jailbreak with
redsnow, your only option is to snow breeze on a windows os. After you
download the 5.1.1 iswp file and have the current version of itunes. Use
snowbreeze to create a custom ispw. After that is finished use ireb in
snowbreeze to enter pwned dfu mode. Then restore from your custom ispw file
that you made from snow breeze and set up as a new phone.

NOTE If you get a 3014 error from itunes make sure you have enough room on your hardrive (AKA not red) you have a good internet connection, and briefly turn off your firewall till you jailbreak your iPhone. If you still get the 3014 error go here( http://www.iphonehail.com/fix-itunes-error-3014-3004-3002-1053.html ) and follow the steps to fix your host file. If you still get the 3014 error use a different computer to restore to the custom firmware you made, and then use iBooty to boot your idevise tethered.

Before you start all the steps i said, ensure that your phone actually boots up,
do not try when you have no screen or the apple booting screen, or the
greenpoison screen or a white screen.
Here are the download links.  Enjoy!
Official steps from the dev team blog:

Use the “Extras->Select IPSW” button in redsn0w to tell it which firmware version you have installed (new-bootrom 3GS users can usually skip this step but it doesn’t hurt for them to do it too).
  1. Do a controlled shutdown of your iPhone (“slide to power off”).  This step is very important to avoid mount problems when the ramdisk is running!
  1. Go back to the first screen and click “Jailbreak”.  Enable the “Downgrade from iPad baseband” checkbox, disable Cydia if you already have it installed, and click Next proceed through the normal DFU ramdisk steps.
If you get this error: the iphone 3gs is already jailbroken with rocky racoon, turn your phone off and try again

After the ramdisk gets launched and you see the running Pwnapple, you’ll eventually get to the “Flashing Baseband” step.  THIS STEP TAKES A VERY LONG TIME to complete and there won’t be any feedback while its running.  Please just let it be for the next 3-8 minutes!  When the ramdisk has done its job it will reboot the phone on its own.

For those who are wondering if you can update your 3G or 3GS to 06.15 solely for the purposes of downgrading to 05.13.04, the answer is “yes” for 3G owners, and “maybe” for 3GS owners.  The iPad baseband is not compatible with 3GS units manufactured week 34 of 2011 or later.  If you have an iPhone3GS and if digits 3-5 of its Serial Number are 134 or later (xx134…), then you should NOT try to install the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS!  It will brick your radio, preventing both the downgrade from working and normal iPhone software from using it as a phone!

You can find your serial number in Settings > General > About > Serial Number

3GS new bootroom users have been waiting up to a 1.5 years to get their GPS functionality back. Now you can. Many thought it would never happen, some were hoping, some bought new devices and some found workarounds in the way of using a Bluetooth GPS Logger. Here is a easy and quick how to tutorial of how to downgrade :)

Stay on your current iOS version
Step 1: Download the latest Redsn0w
Step 2: Plug your phone in
Step 3: Click on Baseband Downgrade
